Conversations with Horses!

An inspiring multi disciplinary Horsemanship Clinic hosted by Gibson Ranch.

 

13th and 14th of November 2010.

 

Do you have questions about training? 

 

Here's your chance to get the answers you need and gain specific training methods to reach your goals. All participants will receive group lessons as well as personal one on one time with Celie to address the needs of every horse and rider. During the clinic we will be working with general topics from Foundation Building to Advanced Training Exercises.

 

These topics include:

Gaining control, respect and trust from the ground and under saddle.

Disengaging the forequarters and the hindquarters.

Softening the 5 body parts. Speed control.

Creating suppleness and bridling up.

Collection, engagement and connection. Confidence building.

Troubleshooting.

 

The clinic is open to all levels of riders and horses and to all disciplines.

 

Participants with horses: $275 per person.

Auditors: $50 per person.

 

Maximum amount of participants with horses: 12
Auditors: Unlimited.

Schedule: The clinic starts saturday at 10am and runs for up to 7 hours both days.

Payments: The cost of the clinic is due up front and paid in full during sign-up.
All payments are non refundable.

 

Clinic requirements: 
Participants must be 18 years old or older.
No severe problem horses are allowed in this particular clinic.
No stallions for safety reasons.
This clinic is for horses only, no donkeys or mules.
You must be able to lead your horse and ride him at a walk and a trot. 
You must be the legal owner of your horse.
Clinic spots are non transferable.
Your horse must be reasonably fit and able to work.
You must use the same horse through the entire clinic.
