If, my horse could write, she would definitely say: “Well done Celie”! Hopefully, she would also say that I have become a better rider and friend, although I still have a lot to learn. In a very professional and thoughtful way, Celie created a safe environment for me to develop my skills and learn to trust my own abilities.
She helped me regain the fun of riding and provided knowledgeable training and guidance to enhance the collection, muscle mass and gaits of my horse. There has been an overall improvement in all aspects of my relationship with my horse, both in regards to groundwork and under saddle.
Celie has my finest recommendations.

In the summer of 2007, my 10 year old Icelandic gelding and I had the pleasure of training with Celie Weston just weeks before she left Denmark. Unfortunately, I waited too long before contacting Celie, which was a real shame, because I could have improved my abilities as a rider so much more, had I contacted her sooner. Within a few sessions, Celie managed to give me a tangible understanding of building a foundation and balanced riding techniques. I have read much literature, watched documentaries and studied illustrations that describe how horse and rider move together successfully in harmony. However, I have never received training that was so effective in reaching the correct results. Celie bases her training on groundwork and shows you exactly what to do practically and theoretically. She explains things in such a way, that I clearly understood how good balanced riding influences the movement and physiology of the horse. I wish that I could continue to receive this effective and empowering training, for I definitely need to develop my riding skills. I do my best to practice what I have learned so far and I can happily say that I now have a soft, flexible and calm horse that is a joy to ride!

Celie really helped me to become confident with the timing and application of my cues. With her direction I could feel the difference in my quarter horse Ranger. We developed our suppleness and collection together, and started working as a team. She is patient and has a great eye and perfect timing...
Thank you so much !

I trained with Celie during 2007 in Denmark. I went to Celie to strengthen the muscles in my horses back and hindquarters. I was able to learn the necessary riding techniques to further self carriage and create subtleness. Celie turned out to be a fantastic trainer! She helped me improve my handling and riding skills immensely, whilst simultaneously helping my horse develop more muscle tone. Celie balanced practical training with an appropriate amount of theory, connecting the principles of horsemanship and balanced riding. She presents her techniques in such an easy, understandable and great way. This is a first for me!
Basic and advanced riding techniques were illustrated during this period of training. They were expressed with such vitality! To this day-I still practice and use every little detail when I ride! Celie spent a lot of energy in creating an individual training program that covered the needs of both me and my 11 year old mare. I received training from the ground and training in the saddle. Celie patiently and persistently kept going until my horse and I reached higher and higher levels of training and harmony. I am in great contact with my horse and we have become friends! This makes riding so unbelievably more fun. Thank you Celie for an altogether positive and unforgettable experience!
